Hila Elmalich Dies at 60 Pounds of Anorexia

A model died last week weighing barely 60 pounds.

Do you think weighing 60 pounds is better than weighing 260? Which is worse, being morbidly obese or morbidly underweight?

I think you  make a very good point that both weights are unhealthy unless  you are overweight and you can not do anything about it your body is just built that way .

that wasnt phrased correctly, is either 60 pounds or healthy weight for your height, and frame. It gets me sooooooooooooooo mad that people dont realize that 60 pounds and 260 pounds can both result death. losing weight is something that takes time and people need to realize this, diet pills, shakes, and all of those stupid things dont work. What works is your desire to be and feel healthy and focus on the long term effect as opposed to the short ones. Please lets change the way that magazines portray women and men, because our society is so f***** up.

Neither of those weights are worse... or better. But I would say being 60 pounds is more DANGEROUS because without the nutrients in your body, you could collapse at any moment and die. Weighing 260 pounds, it will take more time for your body to slow down and cause problems. So it's almost like your body is giving you time to correct the problem.

I agree with the previous answer, and surely there are more living 260 pounders than there are living 60 pounders.  Failing to eat is fast-tract suicide.  Eating too much is slow suicide.
