Any ideas on what the symbol on "Heroes" could stand for, or what it's origins may be?
If it belonged to Adam, way back 600 years ago, then it must be at least that old of a symbol. My guess is that it has some sort of connection to him and he brought that symbol to the rest of the "parent generation"... I'm sure we'll find out in Season 3.... which I can't believe we have to wait so long for.
The symbol seems to resemble RNA or DNA and perhaps it's supposed to show where the genetic mutation took place. I know it sounds strange but I actually like this explanation.

Total eclipse of the sun, though I'm not sure I know what's the relevance because I didn't follow the show that closely.
