Deb, are you asking if someone can get a duplicate title, void a bill of sale, and take possession of a vehicle you bought and paid for? That sounds like grand theft to me, so tell this person that if this happens you will call your local law enforcement ageny and report the car stolen and where it's located.

So my answer is that the previous owner may be able to do, that but if you legally own the car why would he (or she) want to do that.

Mat. 6:33 "Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God and All these things Shall Be Added to You!!!

Negatory my friend! DON'T LOSE THE BILL OF SALE!!! Without IT, yes he can get a "Duplicate"! If he attempts to & DOES get a "Duplicate" he GOES TO JAIL!!! Here in Tucson, AZ. I live under the A.R.S. Arizona Revised Statutes which are the States Laws just as I'm sure Ur State has established some for U! So....look them up right there at Ur "Keyboard"!!! When U think U have found them, cal the Agency involved with Licensing & have them "Confirm" that these "Laws Apply" & then send him a "Demand Letter" to "Cease & Desist" his "Illegal Persuit" against U or U will contact the "Department for Auto Fraud" & see him "Prosecuted to the Fullest Extent of the Law" & then bring "Personal Suite against him" to include All Legal Fees, Lost Wages, Mental Anguish etc.!!! When the "Demand Letter" is finished, take 4 coppies to Ur Bank & have their "Notary Public" "Stamp" them ALL then send him a "Certified Return Receipt Request" mailing of one of the "Copies". This should change his mind & bring U "Peace of Mind".   John

In the beginning, sure you need to take the special sale

Say what?? Take the car?! Are you fully tripping?! Why would somebody take the car anymore?

The issue is not sale, the problem is previous owner
