Helping to Keep My Budget

When is it easier for you to stick to a budget, when shopping alone or when shopping with a friend?

Have you ever asked your friend to monitor your spending? If yes, did it work?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
I read an article that if one goes shopping with a friend on the average one spends 35% more compared to going alone..... The article was in Hebrew so I don't attach it.   Don't have an answer to the 2nd part (and I don't need that "service"...... don't have such a problem).
Best regards,

Always look your best because you never know who you're going to meet.

I find it easier to stick to a budget when I'm shopping on my own. I always find that my friends will unknowingly convince me that I have to have something when the reality is, I probably don't.

There have been a few occasions where I've gone with my one really close friend to my favorite store (Target) and have begged her to not let me spend more than the cash I have in my wallet and she's actually succeeded, despite my finding some really great stuff on a 75% off rack.

Shopping alone. If I am a with a friend I tend to want to spend money.
