Help!!! I skinned my rats tail by mistake!!! ...

Help!!! My Rat had gotten out for a few days, unfortunattly the night I saw her running was when the electric was out, so when I went to get her, I know better I really do but I grabbed her by the tail...( I know I know) and well I skinned her...I was advised to put flour on her tail and pressure, that wasn't easy but I did it...It's 18 hrs later and she is still making crying sounds ( my heart is aching! ) and staying in the corner of her cage. Her sister will not leave her side. Does ANYONE know what else I can do for her ??? I feel horrid...My heart is aching, the guilt...But this isn't about me, it's about her..I cannot afford to bring her to a vet..Is she going to die from this?? is there anything I can do to make her more comforatable??

Please don't tell me that picking her up by the tail was wrong I so know that and wish I could go back in time..

ANY good advice will be greatly appreciated...

A very guitly rat mommy...

Thank you in advance. Sigh...

petsrmylife,  I hope you can find a way to take your rat to the vet.  She really needs her tail to be in good shape to survive.  Ask the vet to take payments, because your rat really needs medical attention.  See the link below:
