Help save my Military Marriage..

Well my husband has been stationed in Korea for about 8 months...we got married a couple months b4 he left. We were together about a year b4 our marriage( but he was deployed 6months out of that year) so we have been separated more then we have been together. Well lately we have been fighting so much that he brought up DIVORCE!!!!...I feel like this is a mistake because i feel that we havent got our chance to actually be together you know. I have waited here for him for so long and all i want is for him to be home. He thinks we wont ever work out and stuff. I also think hes having depression issues. What should i do?How do i get through to him?

I think that you are very right about a lot of what you wrote. You and your husband have been seperated for longer than you have been together so it makes it very hard to remember and trust how you are when you are together. I also believe that you are right about your husband possibly feeling depressed. When is he scheduled to come home? I think that you need to just take what he says with a grain of salt and try not to give in to his arguments. You need to just tell him how much you miss him and how much you can't wait for him to come home. Make him feel wanted and needed by you. You are too far away from eachother to be fighting and trying to sort out the fights as well.

dear AshleyMarie!

your call feels hurtful, no question. I would like to help, I sense some enigmas, some hidden facts. Well, only guesses. your text still lacks of too much important information, it is too much a, well, an expose, understand? Tell me:

how was your marriage in the beginning? what exactly did HE do in Korea? what do YOU do over the day? how old are you? how did you meet? just tell me and be free to let your thoughts wander to shores quite unexceptet. I will watch the question - feel free to read my other answers. I try to go deeper all the time.

see ya!
