How do I get rid of a houseguest that refuses to leave?  A girl I met on internet came to visit 2 months ago and was to stay for a week or two and then relationship went terribly wrong.  I am thinking of having electricity, water,cable turned off and have not bought groceries in weeks!  She says I can't make her leave and by law, I think that she is right!  I have tried loving, begging, crying, bribing, threatening, etc.  Help!!!

Is her name on the lease or the deed? If not, I believe you can take legal measures to have her forcibly removed. Check with an attorney for legal advice regarding the proper procedures.

Meanwhile, does she never leave the premises? If she does, then just put all her belongings outside; change the locks and don't answer the door to let her back in!

Change the locks, If she does come in by some method, charge her

with breaking and entering.
