A:MyrnaKelly...You know I really like sweet potatoe pie, and must say...I don't know anything about what type of recipie your friend might have followed. Perhaps there was a few very thin layers of filo dough sheets cut to fit the top, (GUESSING ? ).could be a very thin layer of ground nuts of a sort...I to am very curious, when you find out, let me know O.K.?
