Help with a plasma membrane questions

A group of researchers studying the mechanisms involved in drug resistance designed a genetically engineered supervirus. virus was accidentally released from the research lab into the air vent system at the Ottawa General Hospital. The supervirus spread throughout the building and was inhaled by several of the patients and staff.

Based on your knowledge of the structure of the plasma membrane and transport mechanisms, describe how the supervirus may have entered the cells of the lung tissues of patients and staff.

Identify the specific structure through which the virus entered the cells and the transport mechanism used.

If this is a medical assignment, then you really need to do your own research otherwise, you will not be learning anything and just memorizing others work.  Do not take shortcuts...they will not help you when you really need to KNOW these things to achieve your ultimate goal.  Good luck!
