tenant eviction free advice rent control san pedro ca.I have been living in my apt. 16 years now . my rent was always paid on time . now the owner sends me a 60 day notice to vacate ? he says he needs the apt. ? The property is commerical and residential having only 2 apts. and 5 businesses below. I have only 25 days left to vacate now where do I stand ? I have no lease and no place to go ? The building was vacant except for me for years but now there are people living in and working on the building somewhat. my unit is the only one habitable . doesnt he have to pay me to relocate ? he says no but is offering me some money (not alot) to help with the security deposit on another place when or if i find one..
