Chances are you're logging in through a server that AOL has recognized as a potential problem spot.  What that means is that somewhere your connection is being routed through a suspicious server or your IP isnt being recognized.  If you're logging in from a public computer it could be that it's not accepting "cookies" so AOL doesnt recognize the computer itself.  Do the puzzle, resend the message, should be okay.
