I tend to believe that men behave this way because "THEY" (nothing to do with us) are feeling a little less of themselves, and it boosts there ego to see us react in a jealous manner over them (you know, like it was when you were high in school) .  Me....... when my husband makes those kind of comments ( and I have got to say he doesn't do it so much anymore) I laugh at him and say "Yeah, like you could get someone like that, your lucky you got me"  and then I go on with my business . Eventually, he'll stop.
