If you two are best friends then you need to consider how important her friendship is to you. It is likely that if you are only friends at this point then you will remain that way. Especially if there have not been any romantic hints at this point. At the same time, if you are really close friends, then you should be able to be honest with one another. If you truly love her, then let her know how you feel. What is the worst that could happen?
