Help getting a loan.

I recently applied for a home loan. I needed a co-signer. My father-n-law agreed to do this. Our credit scores are within the range. However, his credit history is low. Can someone please give me ideas on documents I might submit to show that he has good credit history? I am running out of time!! Please help!!
