Help using epals

I'm just starting to use epals.

My students have accounts. We have received mail and I have approved each one.

When I try to log on as a student, I get as far as being asked to change the students password (why I'm not sure).

Then it will not allow me to enter the old password and/or select a new one.

Any ideas?

It has actually worked for one chld - but I don't know why!!!

Your students have to change their password for extra security.  It is also easier on the teacher if, when creating the accounts, she only has to enter one password verses one per student.

There is also a small glitch with the initial sign on.  (I think they are working on fixing it.) Try to log in like you did before.  If you get the same error, click the sign out link in the top right corner.  This will take you back to the home page, but the login box will be on the left side of the page.  Then you should be able to login successfully.  Not sure why this works, but that is how I had to do it.

I think my main problem was not logging out after opening each student account.
I didn't have the confidence in the system as it was new to me.
I now realise how secure it is - great!
Thanks, Phil
