The best way is to login into your cpanel or plesk etc. We Host Linux so our customers get Cpanel. Ussally your cpanel is located @ www.yourname.com/cpanel
Then from their switch to X3 theme, which has video tutorials, if you click on the subdomain button, you can find a video tutorial for this functionality.
