This requires a great deal of self-discipline and that is not easy to develop without your constant determination. Students today have many distractions such as computer games, internet surfing, TV, extra-curricular activities and over active social life. What you have to do is to design a time budget where you assign a specific amount of time to each of these distractions according to their importance to you where each is kept at a minimum. You will then find you will have more time for your studies. In addition, you should link up with a few good students in your class in order to study together by reviewing and doing class assignments every day. However, don't put so much pressure on yourself and your family and tell yourself

honestly that you are really doing the best you can and can't always get straight "A"s. Some students are blessed with great memories and don't need many hours of study to succeed but most do require those study hours. I hope you will acquire that self-discipline and succeed in your studies.

I believe the first step to take is assessing why you haven't been getting straight A's so far. In order to solve the problem you need to know what it is. You may have a problem with devotion to school. If this is so, self discipline is an important factor. On the other hand you may have a problem with your studying technique meaning the problem isn't in the hours you're putting in but rather what you're doing with that time.

There are other options as well but after assessing your situation you'll have a better idea of what to look for from a solution stand point.

Good luck.

Rock's tip to link up with other students sharing the same goal is great. I would add try to blend study with some other activity which would engage your mind in a different way and let it rest from the intensive study work. Maybe exercise is the best option. Make sure you have the space, privacy and equipment in your room for that, let your exercise ground and your study area be the same, so that you could even unconsciously switch from one activity to the other.

On the other hand, as WarriorPrincess suggested you need to sit and analyze why you have not been getting "A"-s so far and why concentration does not come that easy. Maybe there are too many distractions in your day - tv, internet, friends calling, parents, too, etc. Dedicate a few hours in your day for study alone and let everyone know you would not be available during that time. Turn off the tv, turn off the phone, and consistently say "no" to everyone asking you to do something lese during that time.

Last, but probably most important I do not like your goal. Why get "A"-s in all subjects? What's that good for?

Splitting your attention into the disparate directions of the various school subjects while studying them just for the sake of studying contradicts the process of concentration.
