Hey there,

The best thing to do in your case is probably unlock your handset.

There are numerous benefits in unlocking your mobile phone. Of course, network freedom is the primary reason, but add to that the money savings along with the increased value of your handset, and there is no excuse not to unlock your phone today.

Save Money.  Unlocking your mobile phone may enable dual, tri or even quad band capability, allowing you to use your mobile phone in more places around the globe at greater financial savings. An unlocked mobile phone allows you to use any SIM card on any network which, in turn, allows you to take advantage of cheaper tariffs from competing networks by opening up the option of using local service providers when you travel abroad. Being able to do this will drastically cut down on the cost of calls and text messages.
