I had ETS surgery in Dec. of 2006 in which they severed my nerve to stop hyperhidrosis. I am so far worse off now, then I was Prior to ETS. ETS should be a form of torture. ETS was the biggest mistake of my life. Side effects from ETS are misserable. I have had a constant headache all day every day for over one year. I get hot flashes where my skin feels like it's on fire all the time. CS sweating constantly. I feel fatigue. I have to get about 4 or more hours of sleep a day now. I get shortness of breath and almost pass out when playing sports. I'm lethargic and have no motivation to do anything. I have to try and avoid going outside when the weather is warm because I get the CS sweating through my clothes within seconds and the hot flashes are unbearable. I can't wear pants because my legs sweat so bad and they have the pins and needles sensation. I have never been more depressed, upset, and frustrated in my life. I have had MRI, spinal tap, tons of blood work done, seen many specialists and Dr.'s. and everything has came back normal and the specialists I have seen, have basically told me that there is nothing they can do. I am 38 years old. I am married and have 3 children. I use to have a lot to live for, but since my ETS surgery in San Antonio, Texas from Dr. David Nielson. Everyday there has been less and less for me to live for. Things I use to enjoy, I can't do or it's to unbearable to do. Can you help? I can't live like this. I feel very disabled, miserable, and unhappy. There are so many ETS sufferers out there, all of which have similar stories.
