A video featuring The Hills’ resident villainess Heidi Montag singing her new dance-pop single, “Higher,” has hit the Web. Directed by ex-fiancé Spencer Pratt, the grainy clip resembles a home movie of Heidi enjoying a day at the beach: She’s climbing on some rocks, chasing some seagulls, running through some waves — all in a pink bikini.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS
I watched it for about 20 seconds and then became so uncomfortable and embarrassed on behalf of the entire music industry and artists alike that I slammed shut the lid of my MacBook.Of course I had to re-open it to leave this comment:she sounds like my dog whining at the door when he has to pee and looks....like my dog whining at the door when he has to pee.
This seems like a joke. Is she really coming out with an album? This is one of the worst songs that I have ever heard! Is it just me? She is hardly singing, moves awkwardly in the video, and the lyrics are silly. I'm surprised that this video is so popular.
It seems to me that this is a simple case of an 'All-American' girl who became famous accidentally, and now thinks that she has some talent. Perhaps I am being too harsh. I guess it just upsets me that while there are so many talented people out there who are not getting recognition, she is now coming out with an album. The frightening truth is that her album will probably sell out!!

She sings like fingernails on a chalkboard--she actually squeaks. And as for the video--looks like a friend filmed it one afternoon. A friend with no experience behind the lens and no vision. Disturbingly ameteurish. A joke, really.
To put it shortly, no way.
Even as a joke, even to people I detest.
I haven't watched the video because it was deleted so I can't comment.
