Hear don't upgrade from I.E ver 7 to Internet exploer ver 8 causes problems

Well internet explorer 8 only gives you problems if you are using a beta of it. The full version is out all ready so ai suggest you should install it. Fire fox is another web browser with more speed. You can download it from http://www.mozilla.com. Then choose fire fox and then it will ask you for the opperating system you have. It is complicated because you need to instal drivers like flash, java, ex.

It is better to try things yourself then to believe upon rumours. I have not tried IE8 but using IE7. Anyway if you are interested in trying IE8 then just go for it. If you experience difficulties you can always revert back to IE7. I mostly use Mozilla Firefox and I am satisfied. Moreover does it really matter which browser you are using? You are just cracking your head upon an unnecessary thing. I run xp proffesional and have tested some of the most common browsers. I also tested IE8 which I didn´t like. Some of the features that I used in IE7 was not accessable IE8. It ran fairly slowly on my computer. I would recommend you to use either Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox or Safari. I use Google chrome a lot and it´s fast and covers most of my Internet needs. I also use Safari which I think is a good, fast and reliable browser. It´s also an Apple product :-)

Hi, I tried that IE8 upgrade and after I did, I couldn't even get it to start up. I have Win xp Professional, and I wound up deleting the IE8 and re installing IE7. Firefox is a free browser. You can probably find it at any download place like CNet. It also has a mail client called Mozilla Thunderbird, which is as good as Outlook Express. I've pretty much used it exclusively for the last three years now, and have never had a bit of trouble with it. I will automatically look for updats while you're online, and waits to install them until you start the browser up again. I think it's a version 3.0 right now. I also have Safari, Maxthon, Google Chrome and so on, but don't use them a lot. You could do a lot worse than getting Firefox.

Firefox is an exellent choice and it´s also free. Another alternative is google chrome or safari which I prefer. They are much faster than IE. They are free as well.

i downloaded ie8 and it did have some minor problems but wasn't too bad. You can download mozilla firefox from mozilla.com. I found that firefox can be a lot faster most of the time. You may also change the whole layout and look of it along with many other add ons. However there are some that are mandatory to view videos and other things like flash player, adobe, flash java and things like that those do not come from firefox they are from different companies so you have to go to other websites for those

Certain protected websites for data enry will not work with IE 8. If you use them you should check with help desk before upgrade.
