Health insurance after divorce - then remarry

In Massachusetts - 2 Years after a divorce, Is the spouse who has been carrying health insurance through his employment (each spouse paying 50%) able to drop the family from his policy when he remarries?  Is he allowed to drop the ex-wife?  Children?  If so, can the ex-wife get a family policy and carry the children and have the ex-husband pay the 50% for the child?  Thank you.
