People on Medicare complain more than any other group. If I had to pay only $90 per month for health care I'd be jumping up and down. No wonder doctors dread seeing Medicare patients...they complain nonstop and get paid pennies on the dollar for a group of people that use the system the most.

I have been working for Holiday inn for 21 years.  I have high blood pressure and diabetes.  The insurance there will not cover me because I have a pre exisitng condition.  I find that to be discriminating.  All healthcare insurnace should cover people regardless of their condition.  Otherwise they don't need to be in business.

It is illegal for the physician to balance bill you if they are contracted with Blue Cross, unless you owe a copay or deductible and are a member of Blue Cross. The write off amount has to be "eaten" by the doctor's office after they collect copay, deductible, and BC pays the approved amount.

If you are on a group policy with other Holiday Inn employees, your insurance company cannot use the pre-existing clause. Only if you have an INDIVIDUAL policy does the "pre existing" come into play.

The medical people didn't "destroy" you...you have a bad disease called Crohn's disease. Deal with it.

I have had the same insurance coverage for five years. I also have kidney problems. I think that the drs. emergency room billing services does not bill insurance companies on purpose to pay for those who do not have insurance coverage. When they do not bill, you get stuck with the bill. Yet they tell you that the bill is your responsibility and yet you are not quailfied to bill the insurance co, so you are in a no win situtation. They are ripping off those who have insurance. Did I forget to mention---I have two insurance policies?

As long as our corrupt politicians are owned by the lobbyists nothing will change.
