Why was the movie delaied? Why won't they tell the world the truth about why it was held up?
they changed the date from june/july? i guess they are still working on it and can't yet say an exact date. don't worry though. it'll be soon.
either they didnt finish in time..or maybe because twilight came out on the same day and they thought that they would make more money if they extended the date...but they shouldnt have done that!!

yeah..the change in release date is always about the bottom line (meaning $$$). Last autumn, there was rough competition with Twilight and other movies that would have stolen attention from Harry. Releasing it in the summer of 2009 makes more fiscal sense for Warner Bros.....they get young people who are out of school and they've had time to re-tool the movie in post-production. Additionally, the delay has only added to the buzz and to the discussion about/interest in the movie...hype, hype, hype.

I think it was delayed for a couple of reasons...Mostly I think because of Twilight (since it came out the same weekend, and has a huge fanbase) and I have heard that the writers strike is also a reason why. As far as I know, it is coming out on July 15 in the US and July 17 in the UK.
