Answer 2 out of 4

A:

I have a 2007 roadking custom. I washed it and went to turn it on and the ignition light comes and head lights come on but it does not even attempt to turn over. I looked at all of the 15amp and 40 amp fuses they all seem to be ok. Any suggestions??

Won't start after washing?

Usually, it is water fouling.  The cure is to hand-wash if you have water leakage issues, and avoid pressure washing.

If water gets into the starter switch on the handlebar, or any other ignition component, then dry it out with WD-40 and then compressed air.  Once you find the leak, replace the gasket and keep it dry.
