Hanging out with friends

It's tough for you kids today, especially when everything is so expensive for you...You said you go to the park- why not organize frisbee teams- or whiffel ball- Thats something everyone can participate in-and its not expensive-Good Luck!

It depends on where you live. If you are near to a larger city (i.e., Chicago; Miami; San Francisco) then perhaps your parents would allow your group of friends to take public transportation to the city to do some exploring. Many museums have free admission once a month and student rates on all other days; tourist areas are often fun to explore (even if you don't have any money - it's called window shopping).

It is sometimes also fun to explore an area (even in your own town) by choosing your direction at random. To do that, you begin your journey (wherever you happen to start) and then, whenever you come to an intersection you must choose, 'left? right? or straight?' and then go where your decision takes you (don't forget how to find your way back, however).

Perhaps think of getting a part time jobs, Seriously, You will have a  new place to go meet new friends and you will get paid for it. Plus when you do go out you will have money in your pockets which is nice to have when going out and want a burger and coffee - soda etc. The above beats being borded walking around no money. Think about it. and good luck.

I am in the exact same situation....There isn't much to do around my town. I would suggest hitting the movies a lot (there is always something good to watch), and why not play some games or sports? Get a football or basketball or something. Board games are fun sometimes; they aren't just for little kids! You could play Monopoly or UNO! for a CD or something. Make it fun. Think outside of your box. Since you hang at the park a lot, bring some music. If you have a camera, take some pictures. That's a good way to pass time. Also, if you havea video camera, why don't you make short films and stuff to put on YouTube? That's how people like Fred get famous. :)
