Does anyone make crafts to sell? If so do you have any success selling online?

Hello, Hope you got my email. Please let me know if you didn't. For people who live in PA I have found handmadeinpa.net a great group of crafters from PA.

Smile, it's contagious!

Have been making and selling crafts for 45 years. The latest endeavor was to donate over 600 crafts to local school for them to sell at their fund raiser. Never tried to sell on line. Most people just do not appreciate what it takes to make them and have no idea the amount of moola we tie up in them to make. Therefore they want you to practically give them away instead of sell. With today's economy not many are buying mostly they are just selling. Happy crafting!!!

Thanks much for your answer. I certainly understand what you mean about getting a lot of time and expense tied up in craft projects. I currently have a few items on etsy.com and have sold 3 items but that has taken many months:( I would be dead if I relied on that as my income! madebycarmela.etsy.com is my site name. I hope that it is ok to post that on here. This site has very reasonable listing prices if anyone is interested in checking it out. Thanks again, Moses

Like citrine1 I think selling online is not the best you can do. Try getting a hold of certain fairs going on in your area, look for stuff in your local market. People love buying crafts at stands more then online.
