Ms. Sue,  It depends on why you are putting your hand in my face.  You may wind up with a few sprained fingers.

Happy Valentine's. Play us a rose, you're organic, man.

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

I could mean that you will soon have a desire to wipe your hand, and not on my clothes!

I take it to mean that you are rude and thotless. A person who has no respect for my boundaries.

Of course, I am not in the mainstream. Hell, I don't even think I am in the tributaries.

Jay, Beyond the headwaters of the creek. More oarless.

Ms. Sue , I agree with Anna and Jay .  If someone ever did that to me they would be in serious need of a finger splint among other things .  It is rude and very disrespectful and should not be tolerated .

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

It is a modern gesture called "Talk To The Hand", which means "Don't bother, because I don't care what you have to say".  I agree with the others; it is rude.
