Hair thinning and LLLT

Has anyone had any experience using LLLT for hair thinning/loss?  My teenage daughter has experienced hair thinning and I was wondering if this may be an option for her.

Thank you.

Hi..I have been a Cosmetologist for 31 years. I have never tried or heard of anyone that has used LLLT for thinning hair. First, I would say you need to get to the root, no pun, of the problem first. You can go through all the LLLT you want, but if there is an under lying reason for it, the LLLT is a waste of time and money because it will happen again. There are many reasons for hair loss or thinning like, did she start on any kind of medicine's recently? Is she or has she been using like pot or any illegal drugs? Does she drink alot of cola drinks? Have you changed shampoo's? I say that because when I was in school, we stripped a table with Prell shampoo, so you can imagine what it does to a person's hair. Other reasons may be hard water, health issues or even hormone issues. Lots of possiblilites but I would get to the sorce of the problem before spending anymore money on LLLT.

Purchase hair vitimans that contains: Biotin, B Complex, vitamin A & C, and L-Lysine.  There are many Health Food stores that sell hair vitimans.  Also, she should use all natural organic products on hair.

Absolutely, LLLT works to drive more nutrients to the scalp without the harmful side effects of the sun. The red and invisible light that comes from the diodes has been proven effective for thousands of patients and has been approved for stopping hair loss by the FDA, although I wouldn't wast my money on the Hair Max. You can find an LLLT provider in salons or medical spas and in combination with topical scalp stimulators (driving more blood to the area in question) and cleansing the scalp, you can indeed see hair growth and certainly stopping hair loss. Keep in mind, your own lifestyle choices may be affecting your scalp as well, so do keep a healthy diet, quit smoking if you do, minimize your stress levels, check for heavy metal poisening as well as hormone irregularities. If you seek additional herbal information, or want to avoid the scams (Avocor, which has minoxidil in it) then contact me at aeviuminstitute at yahoo and I'll be happy to elaborate.
