Hair Growth

My grandaughter was born a month early her lungs were a little under developed and no hair on the top of her head. She is now 4 months old her lungs are fine but the top of her head is still without hair, is this normal and will she eventually grow hair. Concerned Grandmother.

How do I find the time?

Hi Karen

Good to hear that her lungs are fine and do not worry about her hair.  My younger daughter is nearly 2 and barely has any hair.  Her hair is so fine, that if it wasn't dark, you would barely see it.

It will grow in time, lots of babies are bald for the 1st year.

My sister was totally bald till she was 2, now she has more hair then anyone I know. You don't have to worry.
