Good Morning: I have an HP, Pavilion, Model a645c, Desktop System, I have performed a soft System Recovery (Maintain files, etc on Hard Drive)on this unit and the when I attempt to perform a restart it continuously goes to Ctrl-Alt-Delete. I really do not want to perform a Full System Recovery as I will lose all my saved documents. Any suggestions help would be appreciated. Thanks: Bob
Treat others like you self would like to be treated.
It might be so that I misunderstand your question.
If you have more than one computer and your warranty has passed then you can lift out the HDD and place it in the other computer as a slave.
Then startup your other computer and get your files and documents to the other computer as a backup. Then you can format and use your recovery CD on your HDD.
