I have a howard miller wall clock and the chimes ...

I have a howard miller wall clock and the chimes are always 3 hour ahead of the actual time. How do i synchronize the two? You recently sent me an answer to this question but i erroneously deleted it before i read it. Please re-send. Thanks!

I don't recall your question, but no matter.

As a rule, these movements "catch up" with themselves. In other words, they are self-adjusting. Obviously, yours is not able to perform this function on its own. Therefore, the recommendation is that you set the hands to the chime and and that should take care of it.

At the full hour move carefuly the hour hand 3 hours counter clockwise to the correct chiming hour,
