How do i goabout getting a license to do home improvements
Check with your city planning department. Some projects only require a permit which you can obtain through them. Contract licenses are harder to get.
If you are looking for a maintenance and alteration license, most states have a test you need to take. You must pass this exam and carry the required insurances. Some states also required continuing credit class time based on your experience.
