Can HOA put a lein on my home..I had to rent my home out so I dont go into fourclouser. I pay my HOA fees and Maintaine the house. The HOA is asking me to put up 1,000 security and 1 months rent 1700.00 as a security deposit so the tennants can live there . I pay my fees and never been late.I owned the home for 10 yrs now and had to rent due to drop in business..I find that security deposit excessive and they said if I dont pay they will put a lein on my home..can they do this.
