I would have to know if you have a single handle or two/three handle tub valve. if it is a single, the cartridge may be bad. if it is two or more, the washer may have separated from the stem and is blocking the flow of water. also, if you have galvanized piping, the line may of rusted, and you need to backpressure the line to open it.
