Who imposes detainers in MA on CT incarcerated people? I have someone who was done serving their time one week ago in CT. I have an attorney in Mass. that already called to see when Mass. was going to the CT jail to pick this person up and bring him to only admit to the charges and the deal was already made that he walks, no probation and fine has been paid. HOW LONG WILL THEY LEAVE THEM DOING DEAD TIME?? My lawyer called Boston and they said their policy is to pick them up within 10 days. It has just been 10 days, but does not look promising. The lawyers in CT said that they could hold anyone for up to 90 days. HOW can I get this to move faster besides by attorney making phone calls. There are NO charges left anywhere and this person is sitting in jail for nothing at this point. ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP.
