Hi!, I am on H4 visa currently and I have applied for H1b visa this year. My employer is a for profit organisation. Since it would take until october 1st to receive an approval notice from USCIS, I would like to know whether it is legally acceptable to work with the organisation on a voluntary basis with out payment in any kind, just to gain experience between apr 1 and oct 1. thanks. regards Moideen
