Guys and trouble

haha!! You hit him with a book? How hard? Well, he deserved it, and he knows it. The problem is that by hitting him with a book you are showing him how much it affects you as well. On one hand he deserves it, and on the other I almost think that it would hurt him more if you just stopped talking to him and completely ignored him. If you acted like it doesn't affect you then you are putting yourself above him. He is the idiot in this situation so you do not have to bring yourself down to his level. I hope this helps. There is no need to regret, but if he tries to get a rise out of you again the best thing to do is to ignore him. He's a jerk!!

Sure you were overeacting.  True he behaved like a jerk and that "killed" you but you should NOT use violence.   Take it as a lesson (you learned, in the hard way, what kind of person he is) and it's better that you did it now rather than after 2 years with him.  Find yourself someone who is worth you.

I have to agree with Jassy though. Hitting him with a book shows you care about him. I think you're too young to let this get you down. Go out and have fun. There are so many guys out there. Go out and get yourself a great one and ignore the jerk who cannot keep his tongue out of other girls' mouths.
