PLEASE HELP! I recently started talking to an old best friend of mine. And he was saying how "I understand him" and how I "Complete him". we've always had a certain "thing" for each other and now he suddenly admits to it but in a way i didnt expect. "I'm so in love with you, Emily". and I like this other guy. and he likes this other girl who is using him and he realizes that now and thanks me but now he wants me. and cant stop thinking about me. cant get me out of his head. what do I do?

If you do not like him that way, and you have a b/f, then I would tell him to get a grip. If you like him too, then you have some things to work out. But, if you were happy with your fella and all was well, then just because someone else says he has feelings for you is no reason to go changing anything about your life. You don't owe him anything because he has feelings for you. What is important is....what are your feelings?
He needs to get his crap together!!! Get rid of the girl 1st before anything proceeds, it sounds like he wants the best of both worlds!! Tell him how you feel and make it happen. Goodluck
To me it's sounds like he's using you to get out of the relationship he's in, I don't know if he's aware of that or not, but I had a few friends who just couldn't bring themselves out of a bad relationship just to be on their own so they just "fall in love" with someone who was usually unavailable to just have the insensitive to leave.
To me it seem like this guy is just bullshitting - if he's serious about you he shouldn't tell you this now, but get out of the relationship he's in and not make a come on to you while you are in another relationship like that.
I think that if the 2 of your are serious about one another you should go for it, but from the way you are talking about this, it sounds like this is basically a physical attraction being misinterpretated.
Wait...I didn't quite explain this correctly. I like this guy and I'm pretty sure he likes me because he asked me to homecoming. HOWEVER, this OTHER guy says he is in love with me and talks about how I complete him and such. So, what do I do? I really want to be with the guy I like but I'm afraid to get hurt or afraid that his invitation to homecoming was just a friend thing. Please help!
Love means that you put some of your happiness in the hand of someone else, meaning the potential of getting hurt \ hurting does exist, most of the people that I know who are single are single out of a fear of getting hurt - I think wanting to love and being loved means taking the chance of getting hurt.
Basically the problem is this - you like one guy who apparently like you, so all is well,go to the homecoming with him and be happy. As for the other guy, I guess that means you'll have ot refuse him which however you put it, isn't going to be nice, and you will hurt his feelings somewhat not matter how gentle you are.
So, be honest and tell him you already accepted the invitation of the other guy that you like and that you are sorry but you do what to see how things develop between you and the other guy and that's that.
