75 thumbs up

I was invited to answer your question, but I'm sorry that i can't be more helpful.  I'm not familiar with this disease and I don't know anyone that has had it.  I hope that you find someone to talk to  and good luck.

I had GBS about 4 years ago. I was very lucky and feel "normal" today. I still deal with some minor "nerve" regeneration issues (such as restless leg syndrome in the evening), but all in all...feel 100%. My avice to anyone who is recovering from this scary syndrome, is stay positive and keep charging ahead. I now take physical activity very seriously. Stay active and most importantly, keep your affected "limbs" mobile. In my case, the paralysis was in my legs. I now make an extra effort to stretch my legs and use a stationary bike daily.
