Grenade attack kills 16 in China

Does anyone know who threw the granade and why?

Will this have any effect on the Olympics due to open next week?

Free as a bird.

CNN is reporting the following: "The regional public security department said it received clues suggesting the "East Turkistan Islamic Movement" planned to make terrorist attacks between August 1-8, Xinhua reported. August 8 marks the start of the Olympic Games in Beijing. The movement wants an independent, self-governing Xinjiang. "

I don't think it will effect the Olympics.

Looks like a a terrorist attacks from Muslim militants in Xinjiang, who have been fighting against China for decades.

I guess it means security at the Olymppics just got to code red, if it wasn't already red before.

May the policemen rest in peace.
