I recently took up on a diet. Nothing fancy, just cutting down on foods that I noticed I ate more of such as bread, wraps, rice, mashed potatoes... For a week I only had one slice of wheat bread a day. Also, only two eggs a week. For dinner, a small baked stake with lima beans and carrots, for luch, a grilled chicken and salad consisting of lettuce, carrots and wheat croutons. for snack (which I had twice a day) I ate crakers, dried aprocots and bananas, green apples, apple sauce. For drinks I had water, tea and milk. If you cut grains and eat the rest of the items i mentioned in moderation, you should lose weight. In 13 days i lost seven pounds and i had five meals a day. I also used a book called Picture Perfect Weight Loss by Dr. Howard M. Shapiro. It is very helpful in substituting fatty meals. Hope everything works out.
