Can somone please explain what "oepidal anger" is?

This belongs to the oedipus complex. In Greek mytholgy oedipus unknowing killed his father and married his mother. Freud adopted this in his psychological theories. He found that in many of his cases there was an exaggerated and unhealthy attachment of a child and later the adult to his/her parent of the opposite sex. In a similar sense the child/adult has an exaggerated feeling of repulsion and/or angerto the parent of the opposite sex.
