Greatful Dead for Barck Obama

Why not?  First of all, there are so many people that love Grateful Dead and think back to the good times when they were the biggest band around, and traveled to see the jam in concerts.  Also, it seems to me like many famous people from all places are coming out this time around, and supporting candidates in this election.  It speaks for how important this election is and how ready the public (celebrities and non-celebrities) is for a significant change in America.  I haven't heard of Grateful Dead or many others like Oprah supporting presidential candidates in the past, and it makes the candidates look very good when they are supported by these people.  Way to go for Obama, and way to go for the members of Grateful Dead to care.

I really don't think it'll matter very much. Most people who support him and who don't like the Greatful Dead won't take their political views very seriously. Those who don't support him and who aren't very fond of the Greatful Dead again will not be influenced by their views. There might be some people who really like the Greatful Dead and who will swing towards Obama but I have a feeling there aren't too many people who'll change their views because of a band.

Who cares what the Greatful Dead think? Will anyone really take them seriously when it comes to political views???

no. it won't hurt his chances because the greatful dead and the demacrates are both hippies and niether of them are model citizens.
