Graphics Card Help

I've recently had to remove my graphics card(GeForcefx Agp8x) because it was causing lines on my screen and eventually it caused my monitor to click off by itself.I was wondering if my graphics card was completely shot,or is there a way I could fix it?BTW,i did have to clean the fan that was attached to the graphics card.

Did something brake? I didn't really understand what system you are working with . You can check forums on graphic cards.  If there was physical damage then there are sites that show how to fix physical damage here is an example.
