gramaphone i got 1 and wondering is it best to leave it wind up or to wind it down over long periods of time leaving it under tension cant be good for it over long periods of time can it ?
Better leave it loose as time passes by the more the string is left winded up it will weaken the strings fibers. Always remember you can buy a new string if you need to.
