Can Graduate degree improve my chances of finding a better job? I already have a good position, and considering going back to school.

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

Yes and no......  It all depends on the situation (demand and supply) at the time you graduate.....  A degree doesn't promise it will be easier to find a job.....  When I graduated as an engineer I received dozen interesting offers..... when I finished my Ph.D. I had to struggle to get 1 offer.....
Best regards,

It depends on your profession; in some a graduate degree is a step forward such as in an academic career. In others, experience is seen as a more valuable asset. If you are happy in your present job and there is opportunity for advancement, ask your boss if he/she would approve your going back to school. Your company might encourage you by participating in your tuition and giving you some time off for studies. I have found that everything you can learn can be valuable. Good luck!

Definetely yes. ten years from now, when you will apply for a position, and other candidates will have a degree, and you won;t, then their chances will be much better.

A degree also gives you a broader view and understanding of many subjects and provides you with tools to learn more things by yourself.
