Searching government auctions car sales can be risky, but if you are organized there are many bargains on hand.
Impounded cars could be abandonded cars, repo vehicles and even seized vehicles.

The first thing I suggest you do is get a full list of vehicles on auction (I'll give you a link a little further down), and do your own valuation on all the cars which you may be interested in. Set a ceiling bid / value for every vehicle and don't go above that price.

Note : The Government auctions cars which you hope to bid on should have titles (or at least  - be able to be titled) otherwise you can't obtain insurance.

If you have not experienced a Government car auction already then I advise that you attend a few auctions beforehand so as to get a better comprehension of the process - it's crucial to build up some confidence because car auctions can be quite nerve-racking the first occasion.

Once you have attended a few auctions you may begin to recognize the regulars - the people in shirt and tie are most likely used car salesmen.

Observe which vehicles they tender on
, they're bound to to know the market (what price they can market the car for) and furthermore the general condition of the cars - they will most likely be on good terms with the auction personnel and would get extra info - most certainly more than us general public.

Remember that the used car dealers would like to make up a fat profit on the vehicle so they can't to offer as much as yourself - this large profit that the salesmen would add on could possibly be your huge savings ....
(This is the most secure method that I have revealed for obtaining cheap impounded cars for sale - you could go it solo if you have expert advice and feel confident.)

The top way to assemble info about future repossessed car auctions are with   Government car auctions   , they are expert and maintain one of the leading, up to date and most dependable information archives of Government & Police auctions of used, repo, impounded and seized vehicles, trucks and SUV's.

Alternatively you can check through tens of sites, magazines and newspapers, plus / or contact various vehicle repo institutes and credit unions. This would take lots of time and effort , and honestly, you couldn't come near to the quantity and standard of up to date info which a business who focusses on this could. If you would like access to the top bargains offered then getting the most complete and up to date info is essential.

Hopefully I helped you a little with your search for Government auctions car sales and repossessed and impounded cars for sale.

All the best, and if you're patient and do the research you should be able to hit upon a great deal!

My honest opinion is to stay away from repossesd cars!!  You really don't know what you are getting and there is no warrantee.

Check your local paper for repo or impounded car auctions in the area - on Wednesday or in the classifieds. The car rental companies also update their fleets in October.
