If the Pen is Mightier than the Sword.... How Lethal is an E-Mail ?

Do Gorillas and Monkeys have an APPENDIX ??

Seeing as we evolved from apes and we have become more advanced we no longer have any use for our appendix... But what was it for ??

Apes  and Monkeys have not evolved as much as we did.. So if we evolved from Apes do they still have a Functioning Appendix ??? What do they use it for??

Jedi is a real religion too!

Just chill out, Man. Life can be good if you let it.

I believe it was an extra stomach for digesting grass, much like the cows system. Not sure whether primates have them. Maybe try the local zoo.

Yesterday's gone and Today is going fast, Tomorrow is all we have, Until it to has passed

Yes we do have a use for our appendix. The appendix supplies an enzyme that aids in digestion and doctors are not longer removing the appendix any more then they are unnecessarily removing the tonsilles. They have found that the tonsilles and the appendix collect bacteria that would otherwise be dispensed in the circulatory system. They are necessary, and they are useful as long as they are functioning properly. It is only when they cease to perform their intended duties, that they need to be removed.

And yes monkeys and apes as well have the same appendage as their human counterparts. Whether they are used in the same capacity as ours are, you would have to ask a doctor of veterinary medicine that question.

Our appendix is useful as the last person said. However, if we evolved from apes, then the apes should have the same function for it as we do. This would help support the theory since it would make no sense for the appendix to change function just as eyes are still used to see, noses still used to breathe, etc. It's not like going from using hands to climb trees to now writing and typing and the many other things we do.

The appendix changing function is equivalent to the lungs switching up their game to digest food instead of breathe air.
