Google Calendars

I've just discovered Google Calendars and I really like it.

Does anyone know of any interesting public  calendars ? What's your favourite?

Whoa, I am pretty confused. Either everyone else misunderstood your question or I did. While I am all for discussing the pros and cons of various AJAX-toting calendars, I am a die-hard Google (fanfare) fanboy and would rather answer the question at hand - namely, which public calendars are cool.

While this is unquestionably a matter of personal taste, there are some that I wouldn't be able to live without. There are also a lot of sites which round up calendars and can help you out.  For example, give http://icalshare.com/top.php a shot.

As for mine, I'm running:

To install any of these, copy the link, click on "manage calendars" in the toolbar, hit "calendars", select "add calendar", select the "public calendar address" tab and paste it there. Then hit OK. Enjoy.

30 Boxes would be my choice, if I used online calendars. It has a very rich Ajax interface and is very easy to use.

You can also try Planzo, Kiko and Spongecell. Most if not all offer an intuitive user interface, and can be custom fitted to your taste.

I would also recommend Rainlendar, as an offline calendar. I've used this until recently and was very pleased.

i've tried them both, and here is what i found out;

30 boxes:

pros - great options like rss feeds, tagging and free language input.

con -  can't edit a single event which is part of a repeating thing.

google :

pro - don't have the con of 30 boxes.

cons - don't have most pros of 30 boxes.

if it is importent to you, you might want to check options for importing/exporting and syncing with other calendars.
